The First Day

20 Aug

All I got from E~ was his day was fine.  He couldn’t remember what they did.  He doesn’t remember anyone’s name, & he had recess before lunch.  Someday I hope he’ll talk about school.   We met his teacher last night.  She’s very soft spoken but also tech savvy.  I’m looking forward to checking  his class website for updates since E~ won’t tell me what’s going on.  The soft spoken thing will be a definite departure from the norm 😉

G~ seemed at a loss without E~.  He was either hungry or bored & he kept begging to watch TV.  I offered to take him for a bike ride or something else fun but he wasn’t interested.  I hope G~’s transition to E~ being gone goes smoother tomorrow.

Here’s E~’s First Day of School 2008 Picture.

He looks so big standing there ready for school! Poor G~ I hope he can figure out his new norm while E~ is in school.
