I’ve Been Tagged (updated)

20 Feb

Update on the Bus accident is at the end of the post.

I’ve been tagged by Jenny B. to play this meme. Here are the rules:

1. List 7 random things about yourself that people may not know.

2. Link the person who sent this to you, and leave a comment on their blog so that their readers can visit yours.

3. Post the rules on your blog.

4. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, linking their blog. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here we go…….

1. Like Jenny B, I collect something from each state I’ve visited, only mine is fingernail clippers. They’re getting harder to find so I may have to find another thing to collect.

2. I love old musicals. I love to spend an evening watching the Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, South Pacific, or The Music Man, etc.

3. I can’t stand it if my feet are touched while I’m sleeping. More than once I’ve woken up really angry because J~ accidentally brushed my foot in his sleep.

4. I still love Survivor. It’s close to being the worst show on TV, but I still love it.

5. In order to redeem myself from #4, my other favorite shows are The Office, Monk, Psych, & my favorite show of all time is the much-too-short Arrested Development

6. I love to swim but hate to get my face wet.

7. I met J~ at a Farm Bureau Convention at Hamline University. It’s unofficially called Young Republicans, a political group I do not & never have been a member of.

I’m going to tag my sisters Becky & Jenny, & my friend Julie. If anyone else would like to do this meme, just link your blog in the comments. I’ve disabled the need to Log In so anyone can comment now.

Please keep the families of Cottonwood & Wood Lake MN in your prayers. You can read about the bus accident here or you can visit Becky’s blog. Her husband was at the scene yesterday as part of Wood Lake’s volunteer fire dept.

12:20pm. Just got off the phone with my sister. There are now 4 fatalities, 2 of the children were from one family. Two of the victims were 7th graders, 1 was in 4th grade & the other was in 3rd grade. The boy my brother-in-law attended yesterday is in critical condition in Sioux Falls with several broken bones, a punctured lung, punctured intestine, & he has already had a splenectomy. Still no word on the condition or identity of the driver that ran the stop sign that hit the bus or the driver of the truck that the bus rolled on.

2:00pm. WCCO has identified the victims & drivers.
